Edward C. Dolney, age 92, of Uniontown, PA, passed on Saturday, October 19, 2013, at Lafayette Manor in Uniontown. He was born in Royal, PA. on January 26, 1921, son of the late Nicholas and Anna (Rabatin) Dolney.

In addition to his parents, Edward was preceded in death by his wife Agnes (Andrews) Dolney; an infant daughter, Marion Dolney; two brothers, William Dolney and Joseph Dolney; and two sisters, Anna Mae Conetsco and Rita "Cassie" Kralovich.

After serving in the U.S. Army, Edward moved to Somerset, PA where he resided for over 50 years. He retired from Svonavec Inc. as an accountant while also serving numerous clients as a personal accountant. Edward was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Somerset, St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown, Knights of Columbus #9247 and the Kiwanis Club of Somerset. He enjoyed traveling with his wife Agnes and was known for dressing as Santa Clause for children of his family and friends.

Edward is survived by his sister, Eleanor Novotny; two brothers, John and Ray Dolney; nephews, Joe and Steve Dolney; a special niece, Terri Dolney; sister-in-law, Theresa Dolney, and many other nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Monday, October 21, 2013 from 2-8 p.m.; and on Tuesday, October 22,until 9:30 a.m., when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

A Funeral Mass will follow in St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown, at 10:00AM with Rev. Fr. Peter L. Peretti as Celebrant.

Interment will then be held in St. Mary Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.

A Parish Wake will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 3:30 p.m.
