Edna Lukas, age 93, of Uniontown, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2015, in the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa.

She was born on May 25, 1921, in Bitner, Pa., a daughter of Martin and Elizabeth (Danko) Voshnock.

Edna was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Frank Lukas, her daughter Carol and her beloved parents, Martin and Elizabeth Voshnock.

She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, the Jefferson Club and worked for Hallmark prior to her retirement, family and friends will remember her for her gracious hospitality and love of cooking, baking and gardening.

Left to cherish her memory is her son Robert Lukas and his wife Rita, beloved grandchildren Jeff Lukas and his wife Annie, Lee Lukas, great granddaughter, Marnie, Sister Genevieve Davidson and her husband Dave, nieces Diane, Maryann and Ann, nephews, Peter, John, Tom, Jim and Stuart, sister-in- law Elizabeth Hollman and brother-in-law Thomas Lukasczyk, M.D. and his wife Dorothy.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home Inc. 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA., on Monday April 27, 2015 from 2-8 p.m. and Tuesday April 28, 2015 until 10 a.m. when prayers of transfer will be said.

The Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m., in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 50 Jefferson St., Uniontown, Pa., with Rev. Father James D. Tringhese as Celebrant.

Interment will follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown,
