Edmund A. Ferencak, 86, of Uniontown, PA, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018, at Mount Macrina Manor.  Edmund was born in East Vandergrift, PA on November 11, 1931, a son of the late John and Joanna Ferencak.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother William and daughter Elizabeth.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years Faith Ann (Neill); children Edmund of Washington, PA, Kathleen Mushovic (David) of Anchorage, AK, Michael (Carol) of Johnstown, PA; sister Geraldine Cowgill (Bill) of Mayfield Heights, OH; grandchildren E.J. Ferencak, Jennifer Correal (Jeff), Kaleigh Ferencak, Sasha Mushovic (Rodrigo Cardoso), Kellyn Mushovic, Jacob Elias and Rachel Elias; great grandchildren Keyan and Sydney Correal; nieces Merle Hill (Bill), Reathea Woodburn (David), and Mary Etta Mayak; and many other dear family and friends.

Edmund and Faith were married on April 24, 1953, in Winchester, VA.  He served in the 70 ^th Battalion, Combat Engineers, of the U.S. Army and was stationed in Austria. He worked for many years in packaging and sales and traveled much of United States.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Thursday, May 3, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday, May 4, until 9:15 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

The Funeral Mass will follow in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Jefferson St., Uniontown, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Father James D. Tringhese as Celebrant.

Interment will be held in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown.
