Edith Florence (Mardell) Bacha, 86, of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, passed away at home on Saturday, July 14, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Edmonton, England on December 29, 1931, daughter of the late Frederick and Alice E. (Johnson) Mardell.

Edith recently lost her husband Andrew J. Bacha, Sr. on January 2, 2018, whom she wed April 14, 1956 in Edmonton, England, while he was stationed with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Donald E. Burke, Jr., brothers, Frank, Frederick, and Jack, and sisters, Jeannie and Lilly.

She is survived by her children, son, Andrew J. "A.J." Bacha and wife Dana Jo, and daughter, Karen Ann (Bacha) Burke, all of Uniontown; grandchildren, Andrew J. "Drew" Bacha, Tyler J. Bacha and fiancé´ Lauren Tashiro, Alysha Ann (Burke) Todd and husband Justin, Donald A. "D.J." Burke and fiancé´ Kayleigh Cooper; great grandchild, Austin Andrew Todd; a brother, Jim Mardell of Hoddeson, England; brother-in-law, Leonard Bacha and wife Diane of Medina, Ohio, sister-in-law, Patricia Johnson of Essex, England; numerous nieces and nephews; and best friend of 69 years, Joan McVicker of Newport News, Virginia.
