Earl Lloyd Halt, Sr., 80, of Uniontown, PA, died on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at the Hillside Manor Personal Care Home. He was born on November 24, 1932 in Clairton, PA., son of Rosser and Clara (Gilland) Halt, who preceded him in death.

Earl was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons for 50 years. He was a Carpenter and member of the Carpenters Union #84.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 63 years whom he married on June 3, 1950, Sara Margaret (Hebel) Halt; their sons, Earl L. Halt, Jr. of Easton, PA, and Glen A. Halt of Belle Vernon, PA; grandchildren, Scott Halt and wife Leslie of Lindsay, Texas, Angela A. Jacobs and husband Maarten of Clarksburg, MD, Nicole Speeney and husband Jay of Vanderbilt, PA, Samantha Malinowski and husband Edmund of Dallas, PA, great grandchildren, Sydni Speeney of Vanderbilt, PA, Anneke Jacobs and Ashton Jacobs both of Clarksburg, MD; and a brother, Ross Halt and wife Pearl of McKeesport, PA.
