Dorothy A. Labuda, 85, of Smock, PA, died on Friday, April 25, 2014 at the Uniontown Hospital. She was born on November 13, 1928 in Herbert, PA, daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Kalina) Labuda.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her nephews, Jerome Toth and Mark Labuda, and a great nephew, Jerome Toth , Jr.

She was fondly called "Dee" by her nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great- great nieces and nephews. She retired from Columbia Gas Company, and had been a member of the former St. Hedwig R.C. Church, Smock, PA. She was a member of the St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Parish, Perryopolis, PA, and member of the Rosary Confraternity.

She is survived by her sister, Martha Toth of Uniontown PA, and her brother, Joseph Labuda and wife Mary Ann of Smock, PA.

Dee was a loving and caring aunt, sister, great aunt, and godmother. She had many very close friends whom she talked with daily.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home Inc. 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Monday, April 28, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm; and Tuesday, April 29, until 12 noon when prayers will be said.

The Funeral Mass will follow on Tuesday at 1 p.m. in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Perryopolis, PA, with Rev. Father James F. Petrovsky as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in St. Hedwig Cemetery Smock, PA.

The Rosary will be prayed on Monday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

The Parish Wake Service will be held on Monday at 7 p.m.
