Doris Marie (Cole) Kurosky, 86, of Uniontown, PA, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving and devoted family on Wednesday, November 14, 2012.

She was born in Lemont Furnace, PA to Clarence and Bertha (Miller) Cole on March 21, 1926. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, husband Walter D. Kurosky; their son, Terry W. Kurosky; and two brothers.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved children, Walter D. Kurosky of Uniontown, and his loving and cherished partner Lisa of Fairchance; Wendell D. Kurosky and wife Kristin; Paul Kurosky; and Jerrilyn Lemansky and husband Michael, all of Uniontown; and Patty Borek and close companion Dwane Hixon, Sr. of Connellsville, PA.

She was the proud grandmother of six grandchildren: special granddaughter Miranda Jade Lemansky and friend William, Jennifer Barber and husband Gary, Eric Kurosky, Tyler Kurosky, Paige Kurosky, Thomas Borek and wife Susan; and great-grandson Tommy Borek. She also leaves behind several siblings and their families.

Doris spent her life caring for her family and making a wonderful home for her children, and also when in need, other children in the neighborhood. She loved to play the piano. Her favorite past-time was searching for four-leaf clovers, and had collected specimens with up to ten leaves. She was very much loved, and shared countless good times with her family, making precious memories that will never be forgotten.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Friday, November 16 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.; and on Saturday, November 17, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.

The Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Lillian Sparks Officiating.

Interment will follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
