Doris K. Clearage, R.N., Ed. D., age 86 of Uniontown, PA, died on Friday, July 7, 2017 at the Uniontown Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph "Red" and Kathryn (Slodic) Clearage, brothers, George, Rudy, and Mike Clearage snd wife Rose, her sister Elaine Marchin and husband Mike, her brother-in-law Dick Rice, and her nephew Robert Rice.

She is survived by her two sisters in Ohio, Patricia Rice and Carol Clearage; and many nieces and nephews and their families.

Dr. Clearage was employed in Nursing for 43 years, and taught Nursing at the University of Arizona in Tucson, West Virginia University, and Waynesburg College.

She was a member of the National Nursing Honor Society, Sigma Theta Tau, and Who's Who in Nursing. Doris was also an avid reader and enjoyed reading a wide variety of topics.

The family will receive friends at the Haky Funeral Home, 515 N. Main St., Masontown, PA, on Saturday, July 15, from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. when a Memorial Service will be held with Rev. Father Alvin Enal Cabungcal officiating.

Inurnment will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery, Masontown, PA.
