Dearest friends and family, it's with great sadness that Donna Koon Leckey, 65 years old, of Uniontown, PA, passed away on September 21, 2018 after her courageous battle with breast cancer.  Donna was a wonderful woman that was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished.

Donna was born in Morgantown, WV to Arlene and Oehrn Koon on March 26, 1953.   She was happily married to Timothy R. Leckey and the proud mother of Kiley (Leckey) Rossman and Colby Leckey.   Despite her hectic schedule, family and friends were Donna's passion, especially her sweet granddaughters.  She was an active member in both her career and community life.  Donna's passion  for education as a Laurel Highlands School teacher led her to be honored by the Fayette Chamber of Commerce as Educator of the Year in 2003-04.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 37 years, daughter, son, grandchildren, siblings, and extended family. Her daughter, Kiley married to Mike Rossman, their children Hailey and Emersyn (Emmy),  her son Colby, and beloved relative, Dorothy (Tillie) Brewer .  Her siblings and their spouses, Dr. Arnold and Bobbie Koon of Masontown, PA;  Kathy and Brian Gallagher of Huntington, WV; Lori and Kevin Dennis of Smithfield, PA as well as lots of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends and family will be received at Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 1-3pm and 5-7pm.  A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 10am.  The family wishes to thank those who have cared for her and her loved ones during her last days.
