Donald Lee "Beans" Kipila, age 65, of Farmington, PA, passed away, Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at the Uniontown Hospital. He was born on, July 30, 1949, in Uniontown, son of the late Joseph and Pauline (Smith) Kipila.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by several Aunts and Uncles.
Beans was employed by Fruehauf Independent Metal Products, where he worked for 20 years as a Welder Fitter and 3 years as the head of the Maintenance. He was an avid hunter and member of the NRA. He also served as the secretary the the local USWA Union, and was a member of PacFab.
Left to cherish his memory, are is beloved wife, of 42 years, Joan (Doorley) Kipila of Farmington; two sisters; Dorothy Brinza, her husband Richard, and their son of Kissimmee, FL, Darlene Kipila of McClellandtown; many brothers and sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 4-8 p.m.
The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 1, 2015 at 2 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverand Ross S. Bash Officiating.
Interment will be held at Sylvan Heights Cemetery Uniontown, PA.
