Deno Pascucci, age 95, of Horizon Bay, Clearwater, Florida, and formerly of Masontown, PA, died on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the Manor Care Nursing Home in Dunedin, FL.
He was born in Masontown, PA on October 18, 1916, son of the late Frederick and Maria (Sagripanti) Pascucci. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Georgina (Cytacki) Pascucci, and his sister, Jean DeGusipe.
Deno was a Union Representative Negotiator with DANA Corporation of Detroit Michigan for many years before retirement. He was a member and staunch supporter of the United Auto Workers of America. He was an avid golfer, playing at Wynmoor Golf Club and Palm Air Country Club where he served as a Ranger for many years. In his youth he was a member of All Saints Roman Catholic Church where he was baptized.
Left to cherish his memory is a brother, Vince Pace of Clearwater, Fl; nephews, Rick Pace, Bryan Pace, and Mark Pace, all of Maryland; Ronald DeGusipe of McClellandtown, PA, and Robert DeGusipe of Pittsburgh, PA; and many great nieces and great nephews.
Friends will be received in the Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 515 N. Main St., Masontown, PA, on Friday, July 20, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., when Prayers of Transfer will be said.
A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, 101 S. Washington St., Masontown, PA, with Rev. Father John M. Butler as Celebrant.
Interment will be held at St. Agnes Cemetery, Leckrone, PA.
