Mr. Dennis G. Hutson, Sr., 78, of McClellandtown, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026 at his home.

He was born in Uniontown on August 12, 1947 to the late Joseph and Lorene Brundege Hutson.

Dennis graduated from German Township High School, class of 1967.

He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War era.

Dennis married Linda Heeter on April 4, 1968.

He worked at Norfolk Naval Shipyard for over twenty years.

Dennis attended Jacobs Lutheran Church in Masontown.

He was fond of the family cats, Max and Oliver

Dennis is survived by his loving wife of fifty-eight years, Linda Hutson of McClellandtown; a daughter, Denise Hutson of Rhode Island; a son, Michael Hutson of New Salem; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three siblings, Francis Hutson and wife Shirley, Joe Hutson and wife Patricia, and Barbara Hutson-Blatchford and husband Charlie; two sister in laws, Phyllis Hutson and Pam Hutson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Dennis G. Hutson, Jr.; and four siblings, Robert Hutson, Jimmy Hutson, William Hutson, and Shelby Hutson.
