Deborah K. (Rahl) Duvall, 70, of Uniontown passed away peacefully on Friday, October 20, 2023, at her home with her husband by her side.
Debbie was born February 11, 1953, in Uniontown, and was the daughter of the late Richard E. and Barbara J. (Goe) Rahl. She was the beloved wife of 44 years to Thomas W. Duvall.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Richard and Robert Rahl and a sister, Linda Mains. Including her husband Tom, she is survived by her sons Thomas E. (Erin) Duvall of Harmony, PA, and Lucas A. (Cathleen) Duvall of Harrisonburg, VA; her brother Barry (Janis) Rahl of Carmichaels, PA; her sisters who were her best friends, Marci (Jim) DeFranks of Brownsville, PA, and Penny (Michael) Rudolph of Point Marion, PA; her sister-in-law, Abby Rahl of New Smyrna Beach, FL; her lifelong friend Renee Lininger, who was a sister to her; many nieces and nephews; and her dogs, Lindy and Chloe, who brought her much joy.
Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a patient transporter at Uniontown Hospital. She beat lung cancer two separate times, and despite the treatments, she maintained her dedication to her family and her unique sense of humor.
Visitation is Tuesday, 10/24 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext. in Uniontown. On Wednesday, 10/25, Prayers of Transfer will take place at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 50 Jefferson St., Uniontown.
