Deborah Ann "Debbie" Churilla, 70 of Uniontown, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at WVU Medicine Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.

She was born on April 1, 1952 in Uniontown, daughter of the late William J. and Julia Ann (Lalakulich) Churilla.

Debbie was a member of St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown, and a graduate of Laurel Highlands High School Class of 1970.  For many years she worked as an administrative secretary for various local businesses. She was a great woman who cared for her family, especially her mother with MS. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her siblings, brother William G. Churilla of Uniontown, and sister Donna M. Cook, and husband Michael of Connellsville; nieces and nephews Jennifer Cook of Connellsville, Brian Cook of Beaver County; and many cousins.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, Pa., on Tuesday, May 31, from 4pm until 8pm, and on Wednesday, June 1, until 9:15am, when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

The Funeral Mass will follow on Wednesday at 10am at St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, 61 N. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown.

Interment will be held at Sylvan Heights Cemetery.

The Parish Vigil Prayer Service will be held at 5 pm on Tuesday at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of other tributes, contributions to St. Jude Children's Hospital may be made in her memory.
