Mrs. Cynthia C. Olsavsky, 82, of West Leisenring, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Uniontown Hospital.

She was born in Connellsville on February 12, 1943 to the late Charles and Johanna Zerecheck Lally.

Cynthia graduated from North Union High School, class of 1961, where she was a majorette.

She married Mr. Joseph Olsavsky on November 14, 1964.

Cynthia is a member of St. Aloysius Church.  She taught CCD there and other churches for over thirty years.

She worked for Goodwill as a job coach and owned and ran "The Coffee Shop" in the Laurel Mall.

Cynthia was strong in faith and body, being a cancer survivor.

She is survived by her loving husband of sixty-years, Joseph Olsavsky; two daughters, Joanne Halfhill of West Leisenring, and Katy Marie Goyak and husband Kenneth of Easton, PA; five grandchildren, Jacob and Emma Halfhill, and Cassidy, Cara, and Jack Goyak.

She was preceded in death by two sons, David and Michael Olsavsky; and a sister, Patricia Kremposky.

Visitation for Cynthia will be held at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401on Wednesday, July 16th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.  A mass of Christina burial will be held on Thursday, July 17th at 10 AM at St. Aloysius Church, 459 Ranch Rd., Dunbar, PA 15431.

Interment is in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
