Colleen M. Kozel, 89, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 20, 2018.  A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she was born and raised in Uniontown, PA, the daughter of the late Robert and Katherine (Broderick Hobaugh) Morris.

Colleen graduated from North Union High School and worked for several years as a telephone operator at Bell Telephone in Uniontown.  She was a member of St. Mary's (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church and was involved with the Golden Club and Catholic Daughters.  She enjoyed going to amusement parks and social gatherings with friends and family.  As an avid cat-lover, you could always find a cat sleeping on her lap.   She loved car trips to visit her daughters and traveling in general.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, John A. Kozel, Jr; her daughter, Becky Kingston and husband, Brian; her daughter, Kathy Olack and husband Michael; two granddaughters, Abby and Emily; and two great-grand kitties, Carly and Minnie :)

Friends and family will be received at Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Sunday, September 23, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday, September 24, until 10 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held.

A special thank you to the Uniontown Hospital, her doctors and nurses, Amedisys, Home Instead, Uniontown Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center and the hospice caregivers for all the love, support and care given to Colleen during her illness.
