Obituary

Clyde Edwin Malnofsky Sr., passed away suddenly at his residence on Saturday, February 4, 2012.

He was a retired member of the Bricklayers Local & Allied Craftworkers Union Local #9. He was an active member of the Faith-Gray-McArdle VFW Post 4584 and the Fort Mason American Legion Post 423 and The Sons of the American Revolution. He loved gardening and working in his yard.

He was preceded in death by his parents George Malnofsky and Beatrice Gaffney; his sister, Donna Chalfant; and a granddaughter, Denise Coen

Clyde is survived by his devoted wife of 69 years, Geraldine Marie (Kessler) Malnofsky. He was the proud father of four children, Kathryn Perrine, Clyde "Pete" Malnofsky Jr. and wife Rose, Marie Sue Patchan and husband Justin, and Victoria Venincasa and husband Marc; eleven grandchildren, Kevin Perrine and wife Sharman, Scott Perrine, Clyde Malnofsky III, Doug Malnofsky and wife Jeanie, Veronica Sims, Meghan Edwards and husband Brentan, Kayce Patchan, Lindsay Patchan, Bardina Burkholder and husband Dan, Vanessa Venincasa, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He was also survived by a brother, Robert G. Malnofsky.

Friends will be received in the Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 515 North Main St., Masontown, PA, today, Wednesday, February 8, 2012 until 12:15 PM

The Funeral Service will be held at Jacobs Lutheran Church at 1 PM with Pastor Herb Dubler Officiating.

Interment will follow in Jacobs Lutheran Cemetery, where military honors will be accorded by Faith-Gray-McArdle VFW Post 423.
