Cheryl A. Kakos' Obituary
Cheryl A. Kakos, age 66, of Vanderbilt, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 5, 2010, at Westmoreland Hospital.
She was born on May 26, 1944 in West Mifflin, PA, daughter of the late Frank and Audrey (Herbert) McClelland.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an aunt, Dorothy McClelland.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Joseph J. Kakos; children, Mark B. Kakos and wife Melissa, and Daniel J. Kakos; a granddaughter, Madison Kakos; brothers, Frank McClelland and wife Delores "Dee", and James McClelland and wife Bonnie.
Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, PA, on Saturday, November 6th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.; and on Monday, November 8, 2010, until 10:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. in Saint Aloysius Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. J. Edward McCullough as Celebrant.
Interment will be held in Saint John Cemetery, Perryopolis, PA.
