Charles E. "Buddy" Martin, 76 of Hopwood passed away on Thursday November 7, 2024. Born August 28, 1948 in Uniontown, son of the late Emmet and Audrey (Springer) Martin. Beloved husband of 52 years to Jean (Kukan) Martin; father of Erin (Jeremy) Stoll of Columbia Md, and Charles "Bud" (Ryan) Martin of Hopwood; grandfather of Lily, Delaney and Emmet; brother of Rebecca Shepherd, Mark Martin, Kassie Guzik, Cyndi Robinson, David Martin and Jacob Martin. Charles was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the US Army as a helicopter pilot. He was a lifelong member of the VFW, AMVETS and the American Legion, also bowled for many years at Manor Lanes in Hopwood. Uniontown on Monday from 2-8 PM where a Blessing service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM, Interment will be in Sylvan Heights Cemetery with full military honors accorded.
