Charles E. " Chuck" Peskie Jr., 88 of Smock passed away on Saturday September 2, 2023. Born February 6, 1935 in Smock, PA, son of the late Charles Sr. and Mary Eleanor (Turosak) Peskie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Dolores Marie Kubitsky and Veronica Rosalie Tomko and his brother-in-laws Daniel D. Kubitsky and Francis "Lefty" Tomko. He is survived by his nieces and nephews; Denise (Peter) Kreckel of Morgantown, WV, Doreen (Jeff) Carraway of Sewickley, David D. (Julie) Kubitsky of Lititz, PA, Jeff Tomko of McHenry, MD, Donna M. Messner, D. Ed. of Altoona, PA, Diana (Jack) Fields of Flagler Beach, FL and Danell (Mark) Wolfe of Allentown, PA, 13  great nieces and nephews and 8 great great nieces and nephews also survive. Charles was an Army Veteran, a member of the former St. Hedwig's Church then St. John the Baptist Church of Perryopolis and a member of the Senior Center. He was the produce manager for Kroger's and a custodian at Marshall School. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday Sept. 16th at 10:00 AM at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church of Perryopolis. Burial of Cremains will follow at St. Hedwig's Cemetery, Smock.
