Charles W. Christopher ("Chris"), 62 of McClellandtown, PA went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 26, 2019.  Chris was a retired coal miner and a graduate of German Township High School.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and most of all, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren who held a very special place in his heart.  He was very fond of games, movies and enjoyed sharing a good meal with his family.  He was preceded in death by his amazing parents, Blanche and Earl Christopher, Sr., and brothers Keith Christopher and Rev. Earl Christopher, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Christopher; daughter, Rachel Sharp and husband, Doug, and son, Chuck Christopher and his wife, Cathi; his five grandchildren, Cody, Tyler, Madalyn, Reed and Ava.  Also surviving are his brother, Kevin Christopher and wife Tina, his sister, Lori Figler, Aunt Susan Smalley and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received Thursday 6-8 PM and Friday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext. Uniontown, PA 15401, where prayers of transfer will be said on Saturday at 9:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Nativity Church, Uniontown. Interment to follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery. A Prayer service will be held on Thursday at 7:00 PM in the funeral home. Parish wake service Friday 3:00 PM conducted by the Lazarus Ministry Group.
