Charles E. "Charlie" Bright, 67 of Chambersburg, Pa., died on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Manor Perry Village, New Bloomfield, Pa. He was born in Uniontown on October 20, 1950 son of the late Charles Bright and Ruby (Duncan) King. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life and wife of over 33 years, Annette M. (Tate) Bright (2011); and two brothers, George and Edwin Bright.
Charlie was a retired landscaper and faithful member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God, of Masontown. He was an avid fisherman and proud father and grandfather.
Surviving is his devoted son, Charles A. "Chip" Bright and wife Jessica of Dunbar; five granddaughters, Kylie Elizabeth, Kendall Nicole, Kaiya Samone, Kendall Marie, and Kadence Aubrey; five siblings, Connie Hice of Continental #3, John Bright of York, Pa., Christina Bright of Grays Landing, Rose Bright and Karen Bright, both of Masontown; and many nieces, nephews, and their families.
Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Tuesday, March 6, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 7, in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. with Pastor Timothy Tanner officiating.
Interment will follow at St. Rita's Cemetery, Connellsville, Pa.
