Catherine (Manack) Polito, 76 of Uniontown, Pa., passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday January 5, 2016.

She was born July 29, 1939 in Van Meter, Pa., a daughter of Tony and Emma (Balog) Manack.

She was an employee of the Uniontown Hospital housekeeping Department until retirement in 2004, a member of St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown.

She is survived by her husband Edward Polito Sr., children Debbie Allen and her husband Dave of Coraopolis, Pa., Diane King and her husband Ed of Berlin, Md., Theresa Polito of Uniontown, Pa., Annette Hudock and her husband Frank of Uniontown Pa., Ed Polito Jr., and his wife Anna of Washington, Pa., grandchildren Brook Wilkins and her husband Matt, Matthew King and his wife Theresa, Sofia Polito and EJ Polito, she is also survived by her brother William Manack and his wife Carol.

A limb has fallen from the family tree that says grieve not for me, remember the best times, the laughter, the song, the good life I lived while I was strong.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc. 603 North Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, Pa. Today (Thursday) January 7 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., and on Friday January 8, 2016 until 11:30 a.m. when prayers of transfer will be said.

A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown, at 12 noon, with Father James Clark as Celebrant.

Entombment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA

The Parish Wake Service will be Today at 3:30 p.m.
