Catherine L. Kraft, age 86, of Grindstone, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 24, 2011, at the Uniontown Hospital, with her family by her side. Catherine was born March 2, 1924 in Uniontown, PA., daughter of the late Robert B. Nixon and Catherine Virginia (Williams) Nixon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert T. Kraft Sr.; and a sister, Virginia Nixon.

Left to cherish Catherine's memory is a son, Robert T. Kraft Jr. and wife Michelle of Uniontown, PA; daughter, Nancy M. Sypolt of Niantic, CT; grandchildren, Amy Carl and husband Scott of Uniontown, PA, Roberta Rubish and husband Paul of McCandless, PA, and Shannon Sypolt and wife Jenny of Huntersville, NC; great-grandchildren, Autumn Windgrove, Samantha Carl, Paul Rubish, Tommy Rubish, Owen Sypolt, and Carley Sypolt.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA., on Monday, February 28, 2011 from 5-8 PM, and Tuesday, March 1, 2011, until 11:00 AM.

A Blessing Service will be held at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Father Ronald P. Larko officiating.

Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
