Catherine J., "Kay," Sember, age 84, passed away suddenly on May 19, 2014.

Catherine was born on February 10, 1930 in Bitner, Pa., the daughter of John and Mary Valosich and the wife of the late Theodore Sember. Catherine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sisters, Frances Valosich Surniak, and Helen Pantalo and a brother, Donald Valosich.

Surviving her loss is her only child, Judy A. Vaydovich, of Waltersburg, PA., and her only grandchild, Tina Vaydovich Woodruff and her husband, John also of Waltersburg, PA. Sisters, Margaret Settimi and her husband, Sam, of Ocean, NJ; Josephine Palic and her husband, John, of Lancaster, PA; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home Inc., 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa., Thursday, May 29 2014 from 9 until 11 a.m. when the Panachida will be held in the funeral home chapel.

A Divine Liturgy will follow in St. Stephen Byzantine Catholic Church, 3120 West Crawford Ave, Connellsville (Leisenring), Pa., at 11:30 a.m. with Father Ronald P. Larko as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in St Stephen Cemetery, Leisenring, Pa.
