Catherine T. "Katy" Klingo, formerly of Uniontown, passed away peacefully at the age of 102, on Saturday, March 7, 2015 in Melbourne, Florida.

She was born on October 24, 1912 on Miller Farm, New Salem, daughter of John Paul and Mary Anna (Gayan) Klingo.

She was the last member of her immediate family, preceded in death by her parents, brother, Joseph J. Klingo, Sr., and sisters, Anna Kubichar and Mary Moscalink.

Katy was a lifelong member of St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church. She had been active in past parish organizations such as the Young Ladies Solidarity and Altar Rosary Society for 30 years. She retired from Richard's Bakery where she was a baker and cake decorator for many years.

Katy was survived by very special nephews who are also her godsons, Joseph J. Klingo, Jr. and wife Brenda of Melbourne, FL, and Frank Polink of Fairfax, VA; and also many other nieces, nephews, and their families.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Friday, March 13, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon.

A Blessing Service will be held at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Father Peter L. Peretti Officiating

Interment will follow at St. Mary (Nativity) Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
