Catherine "Bubs" (Grega) Wallace, 88, of Uniontown, PA, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017. Catherine was born in Palmer, PA, on October 15, 1928 to Michael and Susan (Gumero) Grega.
Catherine was a devoted and loving wife to her husband, Robert Wallace, who passed away on April 1, 2005. They were married 58 years.
She was a warm and caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to her family. Special made memories will forever be close to their hearts. Her kind and gentle ways were always felt by all whom she would meet.
Catherine was a life long member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Uniontown.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Catherine was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Dorothy Sebesky, Helen Gmutza, Emma Laskosky, Margaret Voithofer, Mary Jean Custer, Leonard, Michael, and William Grega.
Catherine is survived by her loving children, Roberta Skovera and her husband Matt of Hopwood, PA and Mark Wallace and his wife Alison of Sinking Spring, PA; her beloved grandchildren, David Skovera and his wife Julie of Sinking Spring, PA, Susan Skovera Johnson and her husband Keith of Clayton, NC, Brett Skovera and his wife Marlo of Sinking Spring, PA, Benjamin Wallace of Manhattan, NY, Jessie Wallace of Pittsburgh, PA, and Jennifer Wallace of Sinking Spring, PA; her cherished great grandchildren, Isabel Skovera, Nickolas Johnson, Claire Skovera, and Natalie Skovera; her sisters, Pauline Matuska and Anna Mae Hofman both of Palm Desert, CA; her sisters-in-law, Leola Wallace Broderick and Ann (Check) Grega; many nieces and nephews; and her special friends, Minni, Andrea and Allen Junk.
Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Friday, May 19, from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday, May 20, until 9:15 a.m. when Parting Prayers will be said.
The Funeral Service will follow in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 121 Walnut Hill Rd., Uniontown, PA, at 10 a.m. with Pastor James Engel Officiating.
Interment will be held in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown.
Catherine's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Mt. Macrina Manor for all of the love, care, and kindness shown to our mom and bubba. Each and every one are special caregivers.
