Mrs. Carol A. Leydig, 79, of Uniontown, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at her home.

She was born in Meadville, PA on July 12, 1946 to the late Walter Lewis and Kathleen Marie Schultz Crable, II.

Carol graduated from South Union High School.

Carol married Mr. Milborn Earl Leydig, Jr.; he preceded her in death on June 21, 1989.

She was a member of St. Therese Church.

Carol was an avid Steelers fan!

She worked at Rockwell from 1965-1980, was a caregiver for developmental delay individuals from 2001 to 2022, and at Darby's, formerly Hill Side Inn from 1989-2023.

Carol is survived by two children, Ronald Leydig and wife Heather of Uniontown, and Kate Leydig of Uniontown; two siblings, Wayne Crable and wife Peggy of Uniontown, and Anita Tamburri of Floris; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved animals, Max, Muffin, Calie, and Casey.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Walter Lewis Crable, III, Richard Allen Crable, and Dale James Crable.

Visitation for Carol will be held at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401 on Wednesday, November 19th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A blessing service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, November 20th at 11 AM.

Interment is in Mt. View Cemetery.
