Carol Ann Homer's Obituary
Carol Ann Homer "CAH.", age 78 of Uniontown, PA., passed away peacefully at the Uniontown Hospital on November 4, 2011, with her family by her side.
She was born in Masontown, PA on February 28, 1933. Carol was the daughter of the late Joseph Rozzi and Theresa (Mahalik) Rozzi. Along with her parents, Carol was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Homer.
Carol was a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Penguins. She was also a member of the Steeler Nation.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Steven Homer, of Uniontown, PA.; Terry Stalnaker and Joe Gulino, of New Salem, Pa.; and Sandra Barton and Husband Bob, of Brownsville, PA.; four grandchildren, Chris Stalnaker, Casey Stalnaker, Ashley Barton, and Robert Barton; two sisters, Doris Sokol, of Masontown, PA.; and Anita Salek of Oakdale, PA.; and a close friend, Tammy Kaiser.
Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC. 515 North Main Street, Masontown, PA 15461.
Interment will be private.
It was Carol's wish that contributions to her deceased son's Scholarship Program be made in her memory.
Memorial contributions to the Joseph E. Homer Scholarship Fund may be made to: Donna Scheimer , Department of Institutional Advancement, C/O LaRoche College, 9000 Babcock Blvd., Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
