Carmen C. Romeo, 77, of Pittsburgh, PA, died on Friday, February 5, 2016 at Concordia of Franklin Park Personal Care Center, Sewickley, PA. He was born on June 17, 1938 in Pittsburgh, son of James and Grace (Cuntenese) Romeo. His parents, and his brother Charles Romeo preceded him in death
Carmen retired from the Port Authority in Pittsburgh where he was a bus driver for many years. During the Vietnam War era, he served his country in the United States Army. Carmen loved motorcycles, and was an avid hunter.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 38 years, Sami L. (Broderick) Romeo; his children, Melena Selle and husband Scott of West Sunbury, PA, Monae Maruyama and husband Michael of Henderson, NV, James Romeo of Pittsburgh, PA, Mindy Vita and husband Joe of Henderson, NV, and Carmen B. Romeo and wife Karen of Coral Springs, FL; twelve grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Wednesday, February 10, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m., the Hour of Service with Rev. Lee Maley Officiating.
Military honors will be accorded by the VFW 8543 and VVI of Fayette County
