Carmella R (Bartorona) Washko, 89, of Martin, PA, passed away on Saturday December 21, 2013
She was born and raised in Masontown, PA, descended of the Bartorona - McNelis - O'Hern families.
A member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Masontown, Pa.,
Carmella was preceded in death by her parents; Dominick Bartorona and Nora (McNelis) Bartorona, husband, Mitchell Washko, a daughter Marie C. Washko, brothers; James Bartorona 1942, Francis Bartorona 1941, Donald L. Bartorona December 25, 2012,
Left to cherish her memory are her sons; Gerald M. Washko and wife Ellen of Texas, Thomas M. Washko of Murrysville, Pa., her sister Anna Marie Forgen and her husband George of New Jersey, sister-in-law Marie Bartorona of California, she was also survived by many nieces, nephews and her godchildren.
There will be no visiting hours
Family and friends are asked to meet for a Mass of Christian burial on Thursday December 26, 2013 at 12 noon in St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Masontown, PA,
Interment will follow in St. Mt. Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
