Carl E. "Shooloo" Ciaramella, 87 of Grays Landing, PA, passed away with his family at his side on Monday, May 1, 2017 at the Uniontown Hospital.
He was born on October 26, 1939 in Gallatin, Pa, son of the late Carlo and Theresa (Gennitasio) Ciaramella.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Irene (Blumish) Ciaramella; three children, daughters, Cynthia Ciaramella and Lisa Ciaramella-Hurdle; son, Danny Ciaramella; and grandchildren, Joshua Ciaramella and Anna Hurdle.

Carl was a graduate of Waynesburg University. He was an educator at Masontown and Albert Gallatin High Schools for 33 years, and coached Masontown High School football for 25 years. He played semi-pro baseball in his youth and served in the United States Army from 1948 until 1952.

Friends will be received at the Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 515 N. Main St., Masontown, PA, on Thursday, May 4, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.

Private Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 followed by interment at Garards Fort Cemetery,
