Beverly J. Garbutt, age 76, of Smock, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at home, surrounded by her family and friends.

She was born on September 13, 1934 in Uniontown, PA., daughter of Albert Lancaster and Elsie (Kovach) Lancaster.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond Gerald Garbutt; and a son Glenn Garbutt.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Gerald Garbutt, Gregory Garbutt, Gary Garbutt and wife Barbara, Gerard Garbutt, Gail Price and husband Ralph, Gerome Garbutt and wife Jackie; grandchildren, Gerald "Ziggy" Garbutt, Richard Garbutt, Jennifer Owens, Elizabeth Tantlinger, Daniel Garbutt, Reeann Garbutt, Dillon Garbutt, Gabrielle Beacom, Sarah Price, and Ian Price; great grandchildren, Bailey, Gavin, Clay and Maddy; sisters, Christine Zaro, and Alberta Bair; a brother, Paul Lancaster; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard and Clara Otis; sister-in-law, Genevieve Garbutt; sister-in-law, Minnie Garbutt; and special friend Herman Barton.

Beverly was a member of St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church. She had a generous heart, and will be missed by all whom she touched.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Tuesday, June 21, from 7 - 9 PM.; Wednesday, June 22, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.; and on Thursday, June 23, until 9:30 AM when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:15 AM in St Hedwig Roman Catholic Church, Smock, PA, with Rev. Father James F. Petrovsky as Celebrant.

Interment will be held at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Smock, PA.

The Parish Rosary will be recited on Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 PM.

The Parish Wake Service will be held on Wednesday evening at 9:00 PM.
