Betsy F. Kopacko, 72, of Masontown, Pa., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on March 22, 1944 in Roxboro, NC. daughter of Thomas James Franklin Sr., and Bettie James (Compton) Franklin

Betsy was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Thomas James Franklin Jr.

She was a member of Jacob's Lutheran Church in Masontown, The Masontown Helping Hands Ministry, Masontown Senior Citizens Center, Masontown Council, President of the Ladies Auxiliary PALS Club, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Masontown Fire Department.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Kenneth B. Kopacko, children Tammy Shotts, Sonia Allison and her husband Joseph, Paul Kaiser IV and Erika Sampey, grandchildren, Casey Shotts, Kaitlin Shotts, Angela Allison, Joshua Allison, Tristin Kaiser, she is also survived by her brother Robert Wade Franklin and his wife Avis, her sister Carolyn Diane Guthrie and her husband Larry Joe and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 515 N. Main St., Masontown, PA, Today April 20, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. and on Thursday April 21, 2016 at 10 a.m. in Jacobs Lutheran Church 342 Lutheran Church Road Masontown, PA 15461 with Reverend Rebecca F. Dittenhafer officiating.

The family asks that everyone meet at the church at 9:45 a.m.

Interment will be held in Jacob's Lutheran Cemetery, Masontown, PA.
