Bessie "Pat" Lowe, age 87, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2011 in the Cherry Tree Nursing Center.

She was born on June 6, 1924 in Walnut Shade, Missouri, a daughter of George and Minnie (Baimer) Allen.

She was a member of The Church of Christ in Vanderbilt, Pa., Closest to her heart was the farm where she lived her entire married life. She was passionate about the farm animals, gardening, raising flowers and her fondness for cats. She cherished her family, friends, and extended church family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James A. Lowe, daughter Jimmie Ann Risker, a brother Bill Allen, sisters Hazel Fritz and Connie Causer.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Sis Hughes, Raye Faris and husband James, grandchildren James Custer and wife Renee, Robbie Fitzgerald and husband Russ, Todd A. Hayward and fianc Marnie Keenan, great grandchildren Alex Raye Fitzgerald, Morgan Custer, Mariah Custer, Sierra Palmer, brother Charlie Allen of Springfield Missouri and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Sunday, December 11, 2011 from 3-9 PM and on Monday until 11 AM the hour of service with Pastor Rich Schimansky officiating.

Interment will be held in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
