Bertha "Bert" (Fudala) Yurik, 91, of Smithfield, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, June 5, 2016, at Mt. Macrina Manor, Uniontown. She was born on January 5, 1925, in Uniontown, a daughter of the late John Fudala Sr. and Mary (Bobak) Fudala. She was also married to the late Augustine "Gus" Yurik.

She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown, PA.

Bertha was very proud of her Polish Heritage. Nothing brought her more joy than listening to polka music and spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memory, are her two daughters, Patricia Demyan and her husband Norman of Lorain, OH, and Pamela Riedmann and her husband Charles of Smithfield, PA; grandchildren, Larry Davidson, Terry Davidson, Brian Demyan, Eric Riedmann, and Vanessa Riedmann; great grandchildren, Zoe Davidson, Gavin Davidson; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 North Gallatin Ave. Ext, Uniontown, PA., on Wednesday, June 8, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, June 9, until 9:15 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

The Funeral Mass will follow at St, Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 180 Old Walnut Hill Rd, Uniontown, PA 15401, at 10 A.M.

Interment will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hopwood, PA.
