Bertha M. (Balchak) Kolp, age 93, of Lemont Furnace, PA., passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at the Uniontown Hospital.

She was born in Continental #2, a daughter of Emory and Anna (Pular) Balchak.

She was member of St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul E. Kolp Jr., a brother Michael Balchak and her sisters Elizabeth Romantic and Irene Balchak.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Edward P. Kolp and wife Linda of Hopwood, PA., Barbara K. Jacobson and husband Eric of Colchester, CT., and Sandra L. Kolp of Lemont Furnace; four grandchildren, Joseph Kolp, Monica Mitchell and husband Jason, Eric Jacobson and partner Verna, and Paul Jacobson; five great grandchildren, Kaila Kolp, Christian Mitchell, Alexander Mitchell, Ashley Jacobson, and Alicia Jacobson; a sister, Marie Clark, and brothers; Edward Balchak, Robert Balchak and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Wednesday June 12, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. and again on Thursday, June 13, 2013 until 12 noon when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church at 12:30 PM

Interment will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery in Uniontown, PA.

A Parish Wake Service will be held on Wednesday June 12, 2013 at 3:30 PM.
