Bertha (Ferens) Gawlik Muchnok, age 87, of Springhill, Fl., formerly of Lemont Furnace, Pa. died on Wednesday January 28, 2015.
She was born on March 30, 1927, daughter of Frank and Mary (Vansil) Ferens.
Bertha was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John Gawlik Sr., brothers, Frank Ferens and George Ferens.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Michael Muchnok, son John Gawlik Jr., and his wife Darlene, step daughters, Catherine Potts, Theresa Hamrick, grandchildren Robin Gawlik, Gregory Gawlik and his wife Denise, great grandchildren, Benjamin Gawlik, Gabriella Gawlik, her brother Albert Ferens and his wife Margaret, and her dearest friend Helen Puzak.
Bertha was a member of the Catholic War Veterans Ladies Auxiliary Post #1669.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 North Gallatin Avenue Ext., Uniontown, Pa. on Friday February 13, 2015 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

A Memorial Mass will follow at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, in Uniontown, PA at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Fr. Ronald Simboli as Celebrant.

Interment will be held in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
