IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bernadette M.
Yagle
December 13, 1950 – May 9, 2024
Our beloved sister, Bernadette "Bernie" Yagle, late of Hopwood, formerly of Uniontown, PA, went to be with the Lord on May 9, 2024.
She was predeceased by Joseph L. Yagle (Father), Mary Ann E. Yagle (Mother), and Duane Anthony Yagle (Son). Surviving are her sister, Elaine L. Raymond, with whom she resided; twin brother, Bernard J. Yagle of Claysville, PA; and sister, Diane L. Poundstone of Uniontown, PA; nieces and nephews, Kimmie (Todd) Barale, Trisha (Sam) Daugherty, Janet Bell and fiancé Ed Miller, Jamie Bell, Brandon J. (Jill) Yagle; great nieces and nephews, Kaitlyn, Dalton, Tiffany, Alyssa, Ryan, Zoey, twins, Ethan and Evan, Bailey, Hailey, and Nathan "Nate"; spiritual family, Pastor Bryan Kelley and Tamara Kelley, Lynn, Al, and Kenny Whipkey, Linda Moxley, Bob and Sharon Carrigan, Sally and Tim Soom, and the entire congregation at Bethel Baptist Church; special friends of a lifetime, Cathy Nehls and children, Bobbie Ann and Stevie, Birdie and Bill Spaw and sons, Billy Ray, Jeff, David, and grandson, little David, Jean and Jeffrey Mullen, Rosie and Dave Kapolka, Lisa and Len Marino, and Sis Bosley: and neighbors, who are like family, Cindy and Rob Robinson, Jeanie and Buddy Martin, Tommy and Lisa Shaffer, and Jennifer and Ted Myers.
Bernie was an animal lover, dogs, cats, rabbits, and horses, and they all had a special bond with her in return. She loved flower and container gardening/landscaping. She was a painter extraordinaire; meticulous when it came to painting walls, ceilings and any other projects; creatively and artistically painting statuary, both large and small. She was an expert baker; we all loved her nut, apricot, pineapple, strawberry, and raspberry rolls. She was an awesome cook as well; some of her best dishes were potato and macaroni salads, spaghetti with a homemade barbeque sauce, lazy halupki (golumpki) casserole, outdoor picnics with kielbasa, hamburgers, hot dogs on the charcoal grill and all the fixings. She thoroughly enjoyed her nephew, Brandon's, melt in your mouth barbeque ribs. She relished the company of friends and family immensely; loved two soap shows, Y & R, and B & B, and rehashing the plot lines while having meals at the house once a week and also eating out on subsequent days with friends and family.
Bernie loved to marathon shop for clothes, shoes, jewelry, furniture, especially antiques and gardening/landscape items. Every new store she went into she felt compelled to buy something, after all, they needed a helping hand as they were just starting out. She would buy T- shirts or sweatshirts from every diner we went into.
