Barbara Jean (Peccon) Glusica, age 72 of Lemont Furnace, PA, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 18, 2012.She was the daughter of the late Fred "Zip" Peccon and Mary Frances (Urish) Peccon.
Barbara was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, and a graduate of North Union High School. She was the owner and operator of the Fruit Bowl Market for many years. She also worked for Nickman's Drug until she retired. Baking for her friends and family was her passion.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Edward Glusica, Sr., her grandson, Michael Jay Livingston, Jr., and her loving pet and companion, "Cocoa".
She is survived by her four children, Michele Glusica Livingston and husband Michael "Mickey" of Mt. Braddock, PA; Michael Glusica, Jr. of Lemont Furnace, PA; Sue Ann Glusica Criswell and husband Richard "Rex" of Rochester, PA; and Joseph Glusica and wife Willie of Uniontown, PA; seven grandchildren, Jason Glusica, Richard Criswell, Eva Criswell, Jessica Criswell, Torin Criswell, Amanda Glusica, and Olivia Glusica; a great grandson, Michael Jay Livingston, III. ; two sisters, Loretta Peccon Campbell of Uncasville, CT, and Theresa Peccon Glusica of Tampa, FL; many nieces and nephews; and many very special friends.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Wednesday, February 22, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.; and also on Thursday, February 23, until 10 a.m., when a Panachida Service will begin at the funeral home.
The Divine Liturgy will follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, with Rev. Father Ronald P. Larko as Celebrant.
Interment will be held at St. John Byzantine Cemetery, Hopwood, PA
