Asenath "Senie" Ann Bowlen, 82, of Uniontown, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

Senie was born in Uniontown on March 18, 1942 to the late Steven and Janet Junk Sedlock.  She was also preceded in death by a son, Christopher Bowlen, a sister, Bonnie Wright and a brother, Robert Sedlock.

Senie grew up in a loving family, only knowing kindness and generosity.  She was a kind, gentle spirited woman, and shared a likeness of her favorite Aunt Betty Ruth Emerick.

Senie, a mother of seven children, was married to Roy Lee Bowlen, who preceded her in death on March 1, 2017. Her children are Roy Bowlen, Terry Stronko, Robert Bowlen, Amy Sokol, Beth Bowlen, and Matthew Bowlen who cared for her every need until her passing. Senie has many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, a sister, Priscilla (Babe) Fuller, all of which she loved and cherished so very dearly.

Senie was loved by all, if you ever met Senie you would be greeted with a great beautiful smile and she always commented on how beautiful you are.  Senie had a gift that made all feel welcomed, loved, and her infectious laugh covered you like a warm blanket.  There are so many wonderful memories that are cherished by her children, grandchildren, family, and friends.

Visitation for Senie will be held at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401 on Tuesday, February 25 from 2 to 6 PM, and the funeral at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 26 at 11 AM.

Interment is in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
