Arthur W. Zuzak Sr., 86 of Smock, PA, passed away on Monday November 1, 2010.

He was born on May 13, 1924 in Masontown, PA., a son of Laurence and Mary Barbara (Marcos) Zuzak.

He was a member of St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church. St. Hedwig Rosary Society, served with the United States Air Force in WWII, and was an insurance agent

For 30 years before retirement.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Joseph Michael Zuzak.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Mary E. (Blanda) Zuzak, children, MaryAnn Hovanic and her husband Thomas, Arthur W. Zuzak Jr., and his wife Melissa, grandchildren Brigette, Maria, Tommy, Lauren, Taylor, Holly, Michael, Matthew, Sarah, brothers Laurence Zuzak Jr., Jerome Zuzak and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc. 603 North Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, Pa. Thursday November 4, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Friday November 5, 2010 until 9:30 a.m. when prayers of transfer will be said.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church with Father James Petrovsky as Celebrant, and Father Robert Lubic as Concelebrant.

Parish Wake service will be held Thursday November 4, 2010 at 7 p.m.



Interment will follow in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Smock, and PA, where military honors will be accorded by the VFW Post 47 of Uniontown.
