Arthur Thomas (Tom) Corrado, age 60 of Uniontown PA passed away (suddenly) in his home on January 24, 2016.
He is survived by his loving Son Arthur Thomas, III, niece Alexis, great-niece, Nora, brother-in-law Howard Watters, Aunt, Loretta Leoni, and many loving cousins and friends.
Tom was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Thomas Corrado in 1964, his mother Ann Leoni Corrado in 2002 and his sister, Gloria Corrado Watters.
Tom graduated from Uniontown High School in 1975 and Le Cordon Bleu Institute of Culinary Arts in Pittsburgh in 1990. He began his career as a chef with lifelong best friend, James Richey, former owner of the Richey Restaurant. He has worked as a distinguished chef at numerous restaurants, most recently Rizz's restaurant in Uniontown. Tom was an avid fisherman and dearly loved playing drums. He spent most of his life playing with various bands, primarily More Bad News for the past 30 years.
Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Friday, January 29th from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm.
The Parish Wake Service will be held on Friday at 3 p.m. at the funeral home
The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 30, at 10 a.m. in St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, 61 Mill St., Uniontown, PA. All friends should proceed directly to the church, arriving by 9:50 a.m.
