Mrs. Arlene F. Pierno, 73, of Uniontown, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2026 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Brownsville on June 21, 1952 to the late Charles and Anne Pompura Helisek.

Arlene graduated from Uniontown High School.

She worked at and retired from Uniontown Hospital in the nutrition department.

Arlene married and was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Pierno.

She is survived by her two children, Anthony Pierno and Regina Moore and husband Rickey; four grandchildren, Samuel and Anna Pierno and Caige and Brady Moore; a sister, Carol Kawatsky and husband Ron; and several beloved nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Arlene was preceded in death by a brother, Peter Helisek.

Services for Arlene are private.

Inurnment is in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
