Anna Marie Malinay Urbani, God welcomed a very sweet angel into heaven on Saturday, June 30, 2012. Surrounded by her loved ones, she left this earth with as much grace and dignity as she lived her life.

Born to Blaze and Rose Sholtis Malinay on January 24, 1920 in Star Junction, Pa., later of Royal, Anna Marie lived a loving, healthy and long life, for which she was so grateful.

Preceding her in death were her parents and stepfather, Steve Bilko, her husband Stephen Urbani, siblings, Paul and Billy, as infants and much loved sisters Irene Dolney, Pauline Walas, Peggy Armstrong and Annie Snyder, Brothers, Edward Malinay, John Bilko, Joseph Bilko, and Leonard Bilko also much loved. She is also preceded in death by her "favorite" son-in-law, Dr. William Graves, and her loving companion and best friend Edward Cetera, who, for over 40 years, until his own death in 1989 was a constant in her life as well as a never ending source of laughter and fun.

Left to mourn, but celebrate a life well-led, is her loving daughter, Linda Urbani Graves of Uniontown, Pa., sister Catherine Rabatin of Boca Raton, Florida , brother-in-law, William Dolney of Willoughby, Ohio and multiple, much cherished nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews and cousins. She also leaves behind with love, a step-grandson and his family, William K. Graves, Jr. of California, as well as many, many friends of all ages, locales and backgrounds and a beautiful and mutually loving relationship with her "Granddogger", Ginger. She will be missed so deeply by her treasured family "across the street", Nancy and Frankie Cetera and their family, who were as important as anyone could be. Always there for her and she knew that for sure.

Anna Marie retired from the Chestnut Ridge post office after many years of working for and enjoying seeing her friends on a regular basis and kept up her routine of daily visits until very recently. One of her greatest joys was making beautiful afghans and baby afghans and presenting them to those she held so dearly. Anna Marie was a lifetime member of St. Hedwig's Church and Rosary Society of Smock.

The family wishes to thank Fayette Home Care and Hospice for such warm and professional care given to Anna Marie. In Particular, special thanks go to Laura Cole, R.N., who showed such compassion and who is the true definition of the word "nurse". To Jean, another "daughter", thank you , she loved you. The Family requests any monetary gifts in Anna Marie's name be donated to that institution in memory of her.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, Monday July 2, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Hedwig Roman Catholic Church, Smock, PA, with Rev. Father James F. Petrovsky as Celebrant.

Entombment will be held at LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.

The Parish Wake Service will be held on Monday evening at 7:30 p.m.
