Anna G. (Knight) Secondini, age 90 of Indiana, formerly of Masontown, PA, entered Heaven's gates with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at New Carlisle, Indiana.

She was born in Smithfield, PA on July 25, 1920, the daughter of Charles M. and Edith (Kingan) Knight.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Paul, a son John (Larry) Wyland; a sister, Dorothy J. Weeder; a brother, Charles Knight; and an infant great grandchild, Christopher Guthrie.

She was a member of the Masontown United Methodist Church, and was an active member at the Friendship Hill Historical Society. She was a former newspaper columnist for the Herald Standard in Uniontown, PA, and a former employee for the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

She was a past member of the Pals Club Ladies Auxiliary, and the Fort Mason Historical Society. Anna also held memberships at the following organizations in Masontown: the Library, Italian Ladies Circle, and the Masontown Senior Citizens.

Anna was very active taking care of Gods little creatures the unwanted or stray animals. She was able to place them in quality homes, full of love. She spent countless hours working to spay and neuter cats and dogs from lower income families. She sold candy on holidays and throughout the rest of the year, to raise money for her cause. She was a friend to many.

Surviving are two children, a daughter, Rose Cramer and her husband Glenn, of South Bend, IN.; a son, Joe Wyland and his wife Carol of Sheffield Lake, OH; grandchildren, Billie Makin of South Bend, IN, Kathy Guthrie of Akron, OH, David Baer of Crucible, PA, Rusty DeBerry of South Bend, IN, Christina Cochran of Masontown, PA; Shelley Spangler of Vermillion, OH., and Jeffrey Wyland and Joseph Wyland, both of Virginia Beach, VA; Glenn Cramer, Jr., and Keith Cramer both of Kent, OH; and Shawn Cramer of South Bend, IN: twenty-two great-grandchildren; one sister, Bernice Garlic and husband Ken of Smithfield, PA; and a special nephew, Rick of Chicago, IL and six other dear nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 515 N. Main St., Masontown, PA on Wednesday, February 16, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.

The Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at the Masontown United Methodist Church, corner of Main and Cross St., Masontown PA, with Rev. Mary Jane Fullerton Officiating. All friends and family members should arrive at the church by 9:45 a.m.

Entombment will be held with her husband in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Lafayette Memorial Park, Rt. 40 West, Brier Hill, PA.
