Anna L. (Johnson) Piovarchy, 95, of Uniontown, PA, died on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Lafayette Manor Nursing Home. She was born on June 20, 1918 in Uniontown, daughter of the late Clark M. and Charlotte W. Johnson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul Piovarchy, Sr. in 1993.

Anna worked as a Nursing Aide at Laurel Ridge Nursing Home and Mount St. Macrina Nursing Home. She enjoyed going to the casino in Wheeling, WV, and also liked to play bingo. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church.

Surviving are four children, Charlotte Lechner and husband John of Texas; Paul Piovarchy and wife Debra Piovarchy of Oklahoma; James Piovarchy, Sr. and wife Linda of Lemont Furnace; and Charles Piovarchy and wife Darlene of Uniontown; twelve grandchildren, Sarah Ann Ramsey, Melinda and Steve Angel, James Piovarchy, Jr., Michael and Dodie Piovarchy, Jennifer and Brian Maupin, Robert and Jason Lechner, Kendra and Randy Piovarchy; and seven great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Sunday, September 15, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM.; and on Monday, September 16 from 10AM until11 AM.

The Funeral Service will follow at 11 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Herb Dubler Officiating.

Interment will be privately held at Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
