Anna "Irene" Horwath, age 93, of Uniontown, Pa, passed away on Friday June 9, 2017.
She was born on August 7, 1923 in Waltersburg, Pa., a daughter of John Horwath Sr., and Barbara (Antolocci) Horwath.
"Irene" was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; John Horwat Jr., Mike Horwat, sisters; Elizabeth Maleta, Julia Barrick, Mary Rusinack, and nephews, Ronald Rusinack and Robert Rusinack.
Surviving are the following nieces and nephews, Barbara Ulery, Michael Horwat, John Horwat, Linda Kieling, David Horwat, Kathleen Kastens, also nieces and nephews, John Rusinack, David Rusinack, Michael Rusinack, Barbara Hart and Geanine Black.
Graveside services will be held in St. John Byzantine Cemetery Hopwood, Pa., on Wednesday June 14, 2017 at 10 a.m. with Father Peter L. Peretti officiating.
