Anna "Ann" Burchianti, age 92, of Masontown, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Forbes Hospice, in Pittsburgh, PA. She was born on September 14, 1921 in Herbert, PA, to the late Michael and Theresa (Stgglic) Kasun.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Aldo Burchianti in 2007, their infant son Aldo, and sisters, Frances Coppolino and Mary Rates.

Ann is survived by two sons and their families: Arnold E. Burchianti and wife Gloria of Smithfield, Eugene T. Burchianti and wife Evelyn of Uniontown; grandchildren, Arnie Burchianti and wife Leslie, Ashlee Esplen and husband Burris, Hedy Ann Esplen and husband Donald, Michael Burchianti and wife Meghan, Jason Burchianti, and Karla Fleckenstein and husband David; and seven great- grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Ann was a homemaker who enjoyed her family, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She loved cooking and baking and was an avid reader. Ann was a member of the St, Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Parish in Masontown (formerly All Saints Church).

Private Funeral Services will be held at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA, with Rev. Father James F. Petrovsky Officiating. Entombment will follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery Chapel of Memories Mausoleum, Uniontown, PA.
