Ann Michalec age 82, of Masontown passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Baptist Homes Nursing Home.



She was born October 28, 1928 in Morgantown, WV. She was the daughter of Charles and Katherine (Konowal) Schaffer.



Ann was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Helen Hlad and Eva Lambert; and a brother Charles Schaffer.



Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband John R. Michalec; a son John L. Michalec and his wife Diane of Mt. Lebanon, PA.; a grandchild Evan J. L. Michalec; a brother John Schaffer; a sister, Katherine Anderegg; and numerous nieces and nephews.



Ann was a member of the Masontown Methodist Church.



Friends will be received in the Haky Funeral Home, Inc. 515 North Main St., Masontown, PA. Friday, November 26, 2010, from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.

A funeral service will be held for Ann at the Masontown Methodist Church on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 10 AM. The service will be officiated, by Pastor Mary Ann Fullerton. Everyone please meet at the church.

Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Garden, Fairmont Road, Morgantown, WV.
